Alright, let’s get down to it..
As we talked about last time, Scorpio is typically an intense and deeply emotional sign. In fact, Scorpions are all about passion. Passion for their creativity and art, passion for their place in the world, passion for their opinions and beliefs..
And VERY passionate in love
As I cautioned before, if you are contemplating entering into a relationship with a Scorpio, be prepared to open all the way up ~ they’ll want to know everything about you, down to your deepest, darkest secret. For some, this can be exciting and fulfilling – knowing that their Scorpio partner cares so deeply. For others, it can be invasive and possibly annoying – not everyone wants to share the deepest parts of themselves.
That said; let’s take a look-see into some of the signs that can be most compatible with the Scorpio:
Taurus: The Bull
Just as sensual, possessive AND passionate, Taurus is a bit more emotionally stable than Scorpio. When Scorpio goes too deep, and takes things a bit too personally, Taurus is there to lend support – a steady, compassionate rock in the chaotic emotional tumult. Taurus and Scorpio are alike and different in all the right ways. They both are loving, loyal signs. They are also both quite stubborn! While Scorpio can be autocratic and secretive, Taurus is open and honest. With mutual respect – which comes easily to both in this situation – and clear communication, a long-lasting love match this can turn out to be.
Pisces: The Fish
As both Scorpio and Pisces are water signs, they tend to get each other fairly well. Both share similar qualities: they are intuitive, able to connect emotionally on a deep level, and are sensitive to the undercurrents of life. Scorpio is a fixed sign and Pisces is a mutable sign, so while Scorpio can sometimes be covert and have a black-and-white view of the world, Pisces will show him a grander view and teach him that compromise doesn’t have to be painful. When these two come together, and share with open minds and hearts, their union can be quite powerful and emotionally satisfying.
Now, this just wouldn’t be as fun if we didn’t explore some of the not-so-hot matches for the Scorpio:
Aquarius: The Water Bearer
An air sign, she has that sort of cool energy about her that snags the Scorpio’s attention. He wants to know what she’s all about. He finds her charming, and she is drawn to Scorpio’s passion. While the chemistry between these two can be quite exciting and intense, soon their conflicting natures can cause major upset. Scorpio wants what he wants when he wants it, and Aquarius doesn’t bow to anyone.
Sagittarius: The Archer
This is a tricky one, folks. While the Sag is always up for a good time, he’s not always willing to go as deep as Scorpio wants. Sag is a fire sign, and like other fire signs, can burn quite hot…if you know what I mean. Mix Sag’s fiery nature with Scorpio’s passionate one, and you’ve got quite the intense mix! However, their basic differences can lead to heartbreak if they’re not careful. Scorpio has already made up her mind about the world, and Sagittarius is constantly seeking new experiences and knowledge – he’s not willing to settle for Scorpio’s word. Scorpio can be emotionally manipulative in order to get what she wants, and Sagittarius just doesn’t have the patience or attention span to put up with this. Though open, honest communication is a key to happiness for a Scorpio & Sagittarius union; both will have to be willing to compromise quite a bit to have a lasting love match.
