The Loving Capricorn

Ahhhh, the steadfast and devoted Capricorn..

Caps are not always the most emotive of signs, and for this reason they’ve been accused of being aloof or overly cautious when it comes to showing their main squeeze how much they’re adored. If you’re in it with a Cap, know that though they may not show it, they do think you’re the bee’s knees.

Goats love being themselves—in whatever way that’s displayed. They’re completely comfortable in their own skins, and apologize for nothing.

Though the earthy Goat desires fame, prestige, money, recognition and social status, he is always down for a relaxing game of golf or a rousing croquet match. Life, to the Capricorn, is one big project or business plan. And much as their symbol would, they enjoy climbing to the top of their particular mountain, one completely thought out and organized step at a time.

Caps are goal-oriented, and do not like to take unnecessary risks. When it comes to business and love, they’ll play it safe. For those contemplating a love affair with a Cap, be warned: once you get on their dark side, there’s no coming back!

Here are the signs most compatible with Capricorn:

Pisces: The Fish

Opposites attract in this Earth & Water union. While Cap approaches life with a task sheet and pen in hand, Pisces is a creative dreamer. Where trust and respect are present, the Fish will show the Goat there is much more to life than hard work and bottom lines. This can be a harmonious and lasting union.

Scorpio: The Scorpion

Equally cautious, and equally unwilling to reveal their vulnerable side too soon, Scorpio and Capricorn have much in common when it comes to relationships. A big difference is in the way they express their passions. The Goat can seem detached and even cold, while the Scorpion’s deep emotions can boil at the surface. Where open and clear communication is present, Scorpio can heat up Capricorn, making this a steamy, if somewhat serious, union.

Virgo: The Virgin

These two earth signs have enough in common to attract, and enough differences to keep things interesting. Both are practical, responsible and mature. Where the Goat is all about strategy and planning, the Virgin is geared more toward practical skills and personal talents. The energies of Capricorn and Virgo blend together quite nicely, and when the chemistry is right—watch out!

Taurus: The Bull

Capricorn and Taurus make a great team. They can count on each other to be there every step of the way. The Goat will setup the hit, and the Bull will knock it out of the park. Both earth signs are practical and grounded. Both have solid common sense. The intense heat from the honeymoon phase of the relationship can die down if not carefully tended, so these two need to remember to take time for fun.

So talk to me. What do you think about Capricorn in love? Have you experienced a union like the ones mentioned above? Please share!
